Are there any open ftp's running?

Most of my recent searches turn up tree's or old ftp sites that appear to be down.

Try the newer protocol, bittorrent, websites eg bt.etree.org or tmnsp.net

i corresponded with mr j last nite. im sure he knows whats going on here and he shared with me that his operating system disk died. lets see what comes next. i asked what the replacement cost is. he has many gigs of shows and id say going back to the roots---as he seeded many an early cd for us---is fine by me!

Sorry to hear you are having problems. The server has been very busy lately. Over 7000 hits and 300 gigs of downloads in the last month on this worthless junk...

Cheers,

If you are using an ftp client just paste ftp://mayostudent.net/ into the host address. There is no username or password needed...It has been pretty busy lately so you may get a "421 Too many users logged for this account. Try again later." message. But keep trying,

You wouldn't have to if the Archive hadn't caved in to GDP. How those soundboards Diana? I bet its cool being able to still have access, don't tell me you haven't had a laugh or two. If you are so sorry how bout accidently posting the access code. People, believe me, it exist.

Geronimo1: Caving in within the context of legal and proprietary issues is a misnomer. The folks here at the LMA logged many, many hours of their lives to make this whole thing happen. I'm sure they were among the most disappointed when the powers that be summoned back the boards. The best thing you could do for yourself is check out some of the hundreds (thousands?) of other bands available on this site. The world doesn't begin and end with the good ole Grateful Dead and directing hostility towards the moderators here doesn't furthur boo.
